This 1955 Studebaker wagon came to us as a solid, character-rich classic, and our focus was bringing modern reliability and performance to its vintage platform. We outfitted the car with a GM LS3, delivering strong, dependable power, paired with a 4L65E transmission for smooth, street-friendly drivability. To complete the look, it rides on Wheelsmith wheels that complement the wagon’s timeless styling while adding a subtle custom touch. While the exterior and interior restorations were completed prior to our involvement, our work centered on integrating a modern drivetrain that transforms the driving experience without taking away from the car’s original charm.
